What happens when you subtitle clips from Star Wars Episode IV, dubbed in French, with Jean-Paul Sartre quotes? Well, some creative folks decided to find out. It sure does transcend its essence (lame Sartre joke FTW).

It’s been a while since I’ve read Sartre, if you have any existentialist analysis of the force (light side/dark side), Luke and Leia actually being siblings, humanoid droids, etc., I will gladly take it.
